SDF Studio Implements Neuralangelo, Baked angelo, and neus-facto-angelo

It seemed like the day Neuralangelo came out, the world was ablaze with requests of when it would it be able to be used and once it was available, where you could try it.
Both of those questions have now been answered, but it might not necessarily be the place that you might have expected. SDF Studio now supports Neuralangelo.
They use everyone's favorite swiss army NeRF platform, nerfstudio! SDF Studio is built on top of nerfstudio, but must be installed separately.
I have not had a chance to try it out for myself yet, but from what I hear, using at least a 3070 will be necessary to run it.
For those looking to try SDF Studio, their Github page can be found here and installation instructions can also be found there.
In addition to Neuralangelo, SDF Studio also supports "Bakedangelo" and neus-facto-angelo Bakedangelo combines BakedSDF with the numerical gridents and progressive training of Neuralangelo. Similar to Bakedangelo,neus-facto-angelo combines neus-facto with numerical gridents and progressive training of Neuralangelo.

Shrinking 3DGS File Size
Gaussian Splatting has quickly become one of the most exciting research topics in Radiance Fields, thanks to its fast training, real time rendering rates, and easy to create pipeline. The one critique that emerged was the resulting file size from captures, often venturing into the high hundreds of megabytes and up.

A short 170 year history of Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF), Holograms, and Light Fields
Lightfield and hologram capture started with a big theoretical idea 115 years ago and we have struggled to make them viable ever since. Neural Radiance fields aka NeRF along with gaming computers now for the first time provide a promising easy and low cost way for everybody to capture and display lightfields.
